Former Iowa Hawkeyes standout Caitlin Clark made a dazzling appearance on the “orange carpet” at the WNBA draft in Brooklyn, New York, wearing a Prada ensemble that turned heads.
Hours before being selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Indiana Fever, Clark showcased her fashion sense in an outfit that, according to Page Six, cost around $25,000, including jewelry.
Her outfit featured a miniskirt, shirt, and rhinestone mesh top that together cost $11,000. Clark complemented these with Prada shoes, sunglasses, and a handbag, bringing the total cost for her attire to nearly $17,000. She further accessorized with more than $10,000 worth of John Hardy jewelry, including a $6,500 Spear Flex Cuff, a $1,195 Icon Bracelet, and $1,795 Carved Chain Stud Earrings.

On the red carpet, Clark shared her enthusiasm for Prada with GQ Sports. “I love Prada. I think Prada is very me,” she said. “Prada’s never dressed a WNBA player or an NBA player for the draft, so it’s very fun.”
This striking fashion statement comes as Clark transitions from a record-setting college career to the professional stage. In her final season at Iowa, she led her team to a second consecutive national championship game, averaging an astounding 31.6 points per game, along with 8.9 assists and 7.4 rebounds. She also broke the NCAA all-time scoring record previously held by LSU’s Pete Maravich. Despite her efforts, Iowa fell to an unbeaten South Carolina in the championship game.
As Clark steps onto the professional court, she not only brings her impressive athletic abilities but also a flair for making a statement, both on and off the court.
