Showing team spirit is always a crucial part of being a fan.
In the closing moments of Monday night’s Cowboys-Chargers game, ESPN’s cameras zeroed in on a fervent fan sporting a Justin Herbert jersey. This fan’s enthusiasm for the Week 6 matchup was quite evident.
While it’s possible that this Chargers fan is simply extremely passionate about her team, many within the NFL community suspect she might be an orchestrated presence.

Of course, there’s no concrete evidence to support the notion that she is a paid actress. Nevertheless, this speculation is making its rounds on social media.
“We witnessed the NFL introducing a brand-new kind of orchestrated presence last night,” one observer remarked. “The NFL seized the chance to cultivate fans for viral content and memes, and now we have the ‘fan industry plant.’ That Chargers fan will likely be front and center during the Super Bowl pregame, mark my words.”
Another person added, “What is this agenda the NFL is trying to advance? They relocated the Rams out of St. Louis and then linked the Chargers to LA, but since they lack supporters, they’re deploying this actress?”
The Cowboys managed to secure a late-game victory over the Chargers, elevating their record to 4-2.
We’ll have to wait and see if the Chargers fan returns to SoFi Stadium on October 29, and whether the “Plant” Chargers fan makes a reappearance.
