It seems like every year or so, Conor McGregor finds himself facing accusations of some sort.
During the 2023 NBA Finals, former UFC champion Conor McGregor was accused of sexual assault by a woman he had entered a bathroom with during one of the games. Now that the investigation has concluded, a decision has been reached.
According to TMZ, McGregor will not be charged in connection with the incident from June. Prosecutors have cited “insufficient evidence” and the lack of “corroborating witnesses or consistent statements” to establish McGregor’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

The decisive factor in this case may have been an interview with a bathroom attendant who was present. The attendant confirmed that he had seen both individuals enter a stall together but stated that he “did not hear any signs of distress or sounds suggesting non-consensual activity.”
The prosecutor subsequently issued a memo stating, “Given the circumstances and the information presented, the State cannot meet the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Conor McGregor, on the other hand, appears to be content with the outcome.
In a statement released through his attorney, Barbara Llanes, McGregor expressed his satisfaction with the resolution of the case.
“After an exhaustive investigation, which included a thorough examination of video footage and interviews with eyewitnesses, the authorities have determined that there are no grounds for pursuing any case against my client, Conor McGregor,” Llanes stated. “On behalf of my client, his family, and his supporters, we are pleased that this matter has now been resolved.”
It’s a far cry from the days when Conor used to make headlines for his fighting prowess.
