Connor Stalions has officially parted ways with the Michigan football program, but the controversial former staff member didn’t hesitate to express his jubilation after Monday night’s significant victory.
In the College Football Playoff National Championship game, Michigan asserted dominance with a 34-13 win against Washington. Despite his infrequent social media activity, Stalions marked the triumph by sharing a celebratory GIF on X.
It’s worth noting that Stalions is implicated as the mastermind behind Michigan’s alleged sign-stealing scheme. Following the accumulation of evidence suggesting his involvement in illegally scouting opponents and pilfering their signals, he resigned from his position with the team.
While the NCAA continues to investigate the sign-stealing operation, Stalions hasn’t actively distanced himself from Michigan. In fact, he was present at Michigan’s victory over Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinals last week, securing prime seating for the event.
