TMZ Sports has obtained video footage of the confrontation between Lil Wayne and a Lakers security guard on Thursday night, revealing the rapper’s evident frustration with the interaction, prompting him to leave the game immediately.
In the video, Lil Wayne, sporting a cream-colored hoodie, black cap, and headphones, is seen attempting to reach his courtside seat with a few friends. However, several officials from Crypto.com Arena appear to instruct him to stop.
One individual, wearing a grey polo with a walkie-talkie clipped to his collar, engages in a conversation with the “How To Love” artist, seemingly indicating that he needs to access his seat via a different route. Lil Wayne visibly expresses frustration, throwing up his hands in a “Come on!” gesture, before swiftly exiting the building.

According to witness Joseph Stirling from MaxMarketPros, who was in close proximity to the incident, it occurred during the second quarter of the game, after Lil Wayne encountered difficulties locating his seat. Stirling noted that Lil Wayne was not seen for the remainder of the night following the altercation.
Initially, Lil Wayne expressed his dissatisfaction on his X page, stating that he was “treated like s***.” However, during a subsequent appearance on Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed,” he appeared to acknowledge that it may have been a misunderstanding.
“They were just doing their job,” the rapper conceded. Nevertheless, he expressed feeling that the encounter was “a little much,” prompting his decision to leave.
As of now, the Lakers organization has not publicly commented on the incident.
