When nature calls, there’s no avoiding it.
During Tulane’s remarkable comeback victory against the University of Memphis on Friday night, a Tulane player found himself in an embarrassing situation. The Green Wave, down 21-10 in the third quarter, clawed their way to a 31-29 triumph in an impressive display of determination. DJ Douglas, a standout defensive back, was among the night’s top performers.

However, his coach was less than pleased because DJ couldn’t hold it any longer and was captured in a photo apparently relieving himself in a corner of the field, right on the Memphis banner.
Head coach Willie Fritz expressed his bewilderment, saying, “What is he doing? Pissing? Is that what it looks like? First I’ve seen of it. If that’s what he’s doing, it’s pretty disappointing.”
Unfortunately, Douglas did not have the opportunity to clarify his actions to the press as he was not available for comments after the game.
This incident raises a valid question: why aren’t there portable toilets on the sidelines?
