Talk about Colin Kaepernick deja vu, must be that time of the year again.
Colin Kaepernick, the former 49ers quarterback, has been seeking an opportunity to play in the NFL for over six and a half years.
Despite being unsigned since his departure from the team in 2016, Kaepernick has been diligently training five to six days a week and remains hopeful that a team will give him a chance to return. His workouts and feedback have been positive, with many acknowledging his talent and skills on the field.
Update: Former #49ers QB Colin Kaepernick says he's still waiting for NFL team to call him to resume his career, trains 5-6 days a week.

However, Kaepernick believes that his absence from the league is due to political bias and urges teams to judge him based on his performance rather than personal opinions.
During his time with the 49ers, Kaepernick had a successful record under coach Jim Harbaugh, reaching the Super Bowl in 2012 and the NFC Championship in 2013.
Nevertheless, his performance declined after Harbaugh’s departure, resulting in a series of losses under subsequent coaches Jim Tomsula and Chip Kelly.
Since leaving the 49ers, Kaepernick has received no offers and only had one workout with the Raiders last year.
He desires the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities and remind people of his skills on the field.
Although his workout with the Raiders went well, the team did not sign him, and despite other teams expressing interest, no offers materialized.
Kaepernick has heard various excuses over the years, with teams often claiming that they want to see how their existing players perform. Although Kaepernick hasn’t played in the NFL, he remains engaged with the league and admires Patrick Mahomes, who is also a fan favorite.
He appreciates the talent of quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen and hopes to compete against them on the field someday.
In the meantime, Kaepernick has stayed busy outside of football. He has authored a children’s book and collaborated on a Netflix documentary about his life.
