After gaining attention for her viral reaction to watching Lionel Messi and Inter Miami face off against LAFC, American soccer star Christian Pulisic extended an invitation to Selena Gomez for a United States Men’s National Team game.
Pulisic took to his Instagram stories, sharing a picture of Gomez and rapper Tyga on his TV screen along with the caption: “Let them know they’re invited to US national team games too.”

Gomez had clearly enjoyed herself at the Inter Miami vs. LAFC match, which ended with a 3-1 victory for Miami, with Messi contributing two assists. She even expressed her deep admiration for Messi to a reporter after the game.
Meanwhile, Pulisic, the 24-year-old winger/forward, is currently in his first season with the iconic Italian club AC Milan. This move followed an underwhelming five-year stint at Chelsea, where he did win the Champions League in 2021 but struggled to secure a regular spot in the team due to multiple managerial changes.

During his time at Chelsea from 2019 to 2023, Pulisic played under Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, and Lampard once again. However, Chelsea’s substantial investment in new talent under Mauricio Pochettino led to Pulisic seeking a new club. His career in Italy has had a promising start, featuring in AC Milan’s first three matches of the season (all victories) and contributing two goals.
Currently on international duty with the USMNT, Pulisic will return to action for AC Milan in the highly anticipated Milan Derby against rivals Inter Milan on September 16.
