Kansas City Chiefs star kicker Harrison Butker recently shared his experience of meeting Taylor Swift in a candid interview.
Despite not considering himself a die-hard Swiftie, Butker, who has been with the Chiefs since 2017, confessed to becoming a fan after encountering the music sensation in person.
Swift, famously dating Butker’s teammate Travis Kelce, has been romantically involved with him since autumn.

Recalling their meeting, Butker described Swift as remarkably humble and gracious, admitting to feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves upon meeting her for the first time.
Acknowledging his initial apprehension, Butker quipped, “I was a little nervous to meet Taylor Swift—I mean, it’s Taylor Swift.” He reflected on the encounter as a fantastic experience, expressing his admiration for her.
Surprisingly, Swift also expressed admiration for Butker’s talent, particularly his ability to kick the ball impressively through the uprights, as revealed by Butker himself.
“I wouldn’t say I’m a Swiftie,” Butker said before recalling his introduction to the “Lover” songstress. “She was just so humble and so gracious,” he said.
The sentiment towards Swift within the Chiefs organization has been unanimously positive ever since she began dating the team’s star tight end.
And perhaps, as superstition might have it, Swift’s presence has been a good luck charm for the Chiefs, as they clinched the Super Bowl victory for the second consecutive year.
