Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has broken his silence following his alleged involvement in a car crash in Dallas on Saturday, which resulted in multiple injuries.
In a statement released on social media, Rice took full responsibility for his actions and expressed his commitment to cooperating with Dallas PD investigators. He offered a sincere apology to all those affected by the accident.
Reports indicate that Rice has acknowledged his role in the crash, which occurred amid suspicions that he was racing his Corvette against a Lamborghini before fleeing the scene.
‘Today I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday’s accident,’ Rice said in his statement, which he released on social media. ‘I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.’

According to TMZ Sports, Rice admitted his involvement in the crash to the company that owns the Lamborghini, which he had leased from Classic Lifestyle. The rental agency claims that Rice’s lease agreement stipulates he is the sole authorized driver of the vehicle.
Kyle Coker, representing The Classic Lifestyle, confirmed that Rice was in the Lamborghini at the time of the accident, despite initial suspicions suggesting he was driving the Corvette.
Following the incident, Rice reportedly sent a text message acknowledging his participation and vowing to cover the damages to the totaled Lamborghini. The report suggests that one of Rice’s friends was driving the Corvette at the time of the crash.
