Patrick Mahomes was spotted enjoying the Dallas Mavericks’ Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday afternoon, reinforcing his well-known support for the team.
Raised in Tyler, Texas, Mahomes grew up cheering for the Mavericks, the closest NBA team to his hometown.
Accompanied by his wife, Brittany Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback drew significant attention while sitting courtside. Mahomes dressed casually in a white t-shirt, dark pants, and a backward baseball cap, accessorizing with a prominent Black Diamond necklace that sparkled under the arena lights, sparking a buzz online.

Mahomes has had a packed week, having recently attended the Miami Grand Prix where he watched the Alpine Racing F1 team. He and teammate Travis Kelce, who joined the Alpine Investment Club last October, were at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida—a notable venue for Mahomes, where he previously celebrated a Super Bowl LIV victory with the Chiefs.
Following the race, Mahomes shared a video on Instagram giving fans a glimpse of his action-packed four days in Miami, which included various pre-race festivities.
On the professional front, Mahomes is optimistic about the future. The Chiefs have already secured their place in NFL history by winning multiple Lombardi Trophies and are the fourth team to win three Super Bowls within five years. Mahomes, one of only six quarterbacks to clinch three Super Bowl titles, expressed confidence in his team’s prospects on the “Impaulsive with Logan Paul” podcast. He boldly claimed, “Next year in New Orleans, we’re gonna do it again. I’m putting it on the table. We’re gonna do it again. I’m telling you now.” His aim is to lead the Chiefs to become the first team ever to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
