In just a few days, the Kansas City Chiefs are set to host the Miami Dolphins in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs, and Saturday night’s game has an exclusive broadcast on Peacock. Reports indicate that NBC paid the NFL $110 million for the streaming rights to the matchup.
While NBC aims to drive viewership to Peacock, not everyone is thrilled about the arrangement. Chiefs defensive lineman Charles Omenihu expressed his disbelief earlier this week, calling the decision to have the game exclusively on Peacock “insane.”
Now, Omenihu is taking action to ensure Chiefs fans can watch the game. He has announced that he’s giving away 90 three-month Peacock memberships to enable fans to tune in.
“Alright Chiefs Kingdom, I saw the comments and want y’all to be able to watch us play,” he shared on social media. “So, I’m giving away 90 3-month Peacock memberships! To enter to win, reply to this tweet with why you should get picked. Picking winners Friday!”

As the anticipation builds for Saturday night’s game, it’s not just the streaming platform that could make things interesting. The forecast predicts near-zero temperatures at kickoff, with the wind chill expected to dip below zero. The action is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock.
