The Kansas City Chiefs are having a strong season once again, but not all aspects of the team are in good shape.
Recently disclosed court documents reveal that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross faces allegations of assaulting his girlfriend and causing damage to her property. The purported incident occurred in Johnson County, Kansas, on October 23, following Ross’s discovery of his girlfriend’s infidelity.

According to the affidavit, Ross confronted his girlfriend, physically pushed her, forcibly brought her to the ground, and threw objects at her, resulting in a minor scratch on her hand. Witnesses confirmed seeing Ross push the woman and run a knife across her vehicle.
While Ross acknowledged discarding the woman’s possessions and breaking a computer in response to her infidelity, he denied causing damage to other items. Subsequently, he was arrested and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage. Ross entered a plea of not guilty and is slated for another court appearance on December 4. For the duration of his case, he has been placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, preventing him from participating in Chiefs’ games or practices.
It’s worth noting that football players enjoy a degree of freedom outside their team activities, and their off-field conduct can significantly impact their future in the NFL.
