After a disappointing home loss on Christmas Day, the Kansas City Chiefs rebounded in a significant manner. Despite only scoring a single touchdown on Sunday, the Chiefs secured a victory against the Bengals, thanks to an array of field goals from Harrison Butker.
The win ensured the Chiefs their eighth consecutive AFC West title.
Post-game, Gracie Hunt, the daughter of the Chiefs owner, shared a straightforward message on her Instagram story: “EIGHT STRAIGHT.”
Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco had a standout performance, rushing for 130 yards and catching five passes for 36 yards, including a touchdown throw from Patrick Mahomes.
While Mahomes had a solid performance, completing 21-of-29 for 245 yards and a touchdown with one fumble, veteran kicker Harrison Butker played a pivotal role by going 6-for-6 on field goals, contributing the final 18 points of the game. This effort helped Kansas City overcome a 17-7 deficit and outscore Cincinnati 12-0 in the second half.

The Chiefs will conclude their regular season against the Chargers and are set to open the playoffs in the NFL’s Wild Card Round on the weekend of Jan. 13-14.
