WAGs wars wage on following a hotly contested Super Bowl.
The rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers spilled over into the realm of TikTok following the Chiefs’ dramatic 25-22 overtime victory in Super Bowl 2024.
The feud began when Dacoda Nicole, girlfriend of Chiefs rookie receiver Rashee Rice, posted a video on TikTok following the win, joining in on the trend of “I’m a (fill in the blank), of course (stereotypical action)” videos. In her video captioned “Of course we won the Super Bowl AGAIN,” Nicole and other Chiefs significant others repeated the phrase “I’m a Chiefs girlfriend, of course we won the Super Bowl again.”

This video seemed to ruffle the feathers of Allahbia Mitchell, girlfriend of 49ers backup running back Jordan Mason, as the 49ers’ significant others had previously posted a similar video. Two weeks earlier, after the 49ers secured their spot in the Super Bowl by defeating the Lions in the NFC Championship game, Mitchell and others released a video with very similar language, stating, “We’re NFL girlfriends, of course we’re going to the Super Bowl.”
In response to Nicole’s post, Mitchell reportedly commented “Be original,” which prompted Nicole to fire back, stating “we are original we keep winning.”
The exchange seemingly came to an end shortly afterward, without any involvement or comment from Taylor Swift, sadly.
As the saying goes, to the victor go the spoils, and the Chiefs players and their significant others will continue the celebration with a Super Bowl parade in Kansas City. Meanwhile, the 49ers had their own celebration in Las Vegas.
Rashee Rice, Nicole’s boyfriend, had a solid performance in the Super Bowl, with six catches for 39 yards, contributing to the Chiefs’ victory.
