Sometimes it doesn’t matter how fast you are.
Xavier Worthy was welcomed to Kansas City in an unexpected way.
According to the Chiefs, Worthy’s car was stolen overnight from his apartment complex.
A source stated that the car was stolen from a residential parking garage by a professional group of criminals who “knew exactly what they were doing.” Fortunately, no one was injured, and there was no carjacking or confrontation. The car was simply taken.

The Chiefs’ first-round selection of wide receiver Xavier Worthy has generated excitement for Kansas City’s offense, aiming to replace the dynamic presence lost two years ago when Tyreek Hill departed. However, it’s another speedster that the rookie has been studying.
Worthy, who weighed in at the NFL Scouting Combine at 165 pounds and arrived at rookie minicamp at 169 pounds, told local reporters he’s not worried about playing with a lighter frame. Instead, he has been taking lessons from watching the similarly sized DeSean Jackson.
“Just his punt return and his ability to make a play after the catch,” Worthy said. “How he understood the leverage for deep routes.”
