On Wednesday night, Charles Barkley criticized WNBA players for their opinions on Caitlin Clark. The NBA legend believes that WNBA players are being jealous and petty towards Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Barkley thinks they should give more credit to Clark for her contributions to the league.
“You women out there, y’all petty, man… Y’all should be thanking [Caitlin Clark] for getting y’all (expletive) private charters. All the money and visibility she’s bringing to the WNBA,” Barkley said on Wednesday night.
Clark has significantly contributed to the growth of the WNBA, but she and the Indiana Fever have had a rough start this season, going 0-4.

Although she has shown impressive scoring abilities, she has struggled with ball security and currently leads the league in turnovers.
The former Iowa Hawkeyes star is set to return to the court on Wednesday evening, facing the Seattle Storm.
Tipoff between the Indiana Fever and the Seattle Storm is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on WNBA League Pass.
