Better late than never?
Following a span of peculiar and worrisome conduct, Chandler Jones has released an apology and an update.
Taking to his X account, Jones expressed that he has been contending with “personal matters” but now feels “much better.” He extended apologies to “anyone I may have unintentionally offended” and conveyed gratitude to those who stood by him.

Jones’ troubles commenced in September, marked by his accusatory statements towards the Las Vegas Raiders, alleging their attempts to “provoke” him in a perplexing social media outburst.
Subsequently, amidst a series of erratic messages, he faced arrest later that month, leading to his eventual release from the Raiders. Despite this, his unusual behavior persisted, evident as recently as January.
Approaching his 34th birthday by month’s end, Jones, a Pro Bowl honoree as recently as 2021, leaves uncertainties regarding any aspirations for an NFL comeback.
