Some NFL fans expressed their discontent with CBS’ coverage of Taylor Swift’s absence during the Chiefs-Broncos game on Sunday afternoon.

The network displayed a viral graphic during the broadcast, highlighting that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is dating the superstar singer, averaged significantly fewer yards in games where Swift was not present.
“For no apparent reason at all, CBS decided to remind NFL fans that Taylor Swift wasn’t in the game,” noted Dov Kleiman, a popular NFL aggregator, in a post on X, including a screenshot of the graphic.
It was an updated graphic that CBS featured in their broadcast during Kansas City’s victory over the Chargers on October 22, and it didn’t sit well with some fans.
The graphic indicated that Kelce averaged 108 yards when Swift was there to support him in person during the four games she attended this season.
Until Kelce can deliver standout performances without her in attendance, this concerning statistic will likely continue to follow him throughout the season.
