Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck took a strategic approach before starting his relationship with Hanna Cavinder, one half of the social media-famous Cavinder twins. In a recent “Get Ready With Me” TikTok, Hanna and her twin sister Haley opened up about the unique challenges of being twins, including being mistaken for one another.
During the chat, Hanna shared that Beck has impressively never called her by Haley’s name — a feat Haley attributes to some careful preparation on Beck’s part.
“Well, Carson told me he was studying before he ever came [to meet you],” Haley revealed with a laugh. “He was studying pictures with his mom. Sorry to blast that, Carson.”
The twins joked about Beck’s diligence, contrasting it with Haley’s own experience with her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson. Haley recounted an awkward first meeting when Ferguson accidentally called her “Hanna.”
“I got up to his place, and we’re hanging out, watching a movie,” Haley said. “Jake was being a gentleman — it was our first time ever meeting. Then he looks over and says, ‘Hanna.’ I kind of got uncomfortable and just ignored it.”
Haley explained that she later brought up the mix-up once they were more comfortable. “He knew he said it, but it was just so awkward in the moment,” she added, laughing.
Haley then teased Ferguson, saying, “I don’t think Jake was studying pictures,” hinting that he hadn’t done the same level of prep as Beck. The sisters joked that Ferguson, now a Pro Bowl tight end, was likely “locked in” with his focus elsewhere.

Haley and Ferguson have since celebrated one year together, with Haley revealing in a previous Q&A that the two initially connected through social media.
Meanwhile, Hanna and Beck’s relationship has been a topic of fan speculation since the summer, with Beck finally confirming the romance during an interview with ESPN last August.
The quarterback’s thoughtful attention to detail, including his pre-date photo study session, has earned him admiration from Cavinder fans and further solidified his bond with Hanna.
The Cavinder twins, currently in their fifth and final year with the Miami Hurricanes, are known for their basketball prowess and NIL success. In July, they added to their growing brand by signing a lucrative deal with Under Armour.
