Carmelo Anthony has received quite an offer.
Following a 19-season career in the NBA, former all-star Carmelo Anthony has announced his retirement at the age of 38. While Anthony shared a video montage of career moments on social media, an adult site has offered him a one-year deal worth $250,000 to recreate the infamous banana boat scene, with Anthony taking the role of “CBO”.

In his retirement announcement, Anthony expressed his gratitude to the cities, communities and fans that supported him over the years and spoke of his excitement for the future. He passed the torch to his 16-year-old son Kiyan, whom he co-parents with ex-wife La La Anthony, with whom he remains on good terms.
“I remember the days when I had nothing just a ball on the court and a dream with something more,” Anthony said. “But basketball was my outlet. My purpose was strong. My communities, the cities I represented with pride, and the fans that supported me along the way.
“I am forever grateful for those people and places because they made me, Carmelo Anthony.
“But now the time has come for me to say goodbye: to the court where I made my name, to the game that gave me purpose and pride.”
“But this bittersweet goodbye to the NBA, I am excited for what the future holds for me. When people ask what I believe my legacy is, it’s not my feet on the court that comes to mind, nor the awards or praise, because my story has always been more than basketball.
La La filed for divorce in June 2021, with the marriage reportedly starting to fall apart after Anthony was traded from the Nuggets to the Knicks in 2011.
