Former Detroit Lions cornerback Cameron Sutton turned himself in on Sunday following weeks of evading authorities after being wanted on a domestic violence warrant.
Now, Sutton’s mugshot has emerged via TMZ.

Despite evading police for weeks, Sutton was reportedly released from prison on his own recognizance just 24 hours after turning himself in and only charged with a single misdemeanor.
Sutton’s attorney Todd Foster released this statement:
“Both Mr. Sutton and the mother of his children request privacy in this matter, as they view this as a family matter.””
Wild details surrounding Sutton’s arrest warrant emerged on March 26 following Sutton’s release by the Lions on March 21.
It was first reported that Sutton was the subject of an arrest warrant on March 20 when the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida posted the following on X:
“Do You Know This Man?
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office needs your assistance in locating a wanted subject: Cameron Sutton, 29.
He is wanted for Aggravated Battery – Domestic Violence. He may be driving a Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a plate number of FL-AZ33QB.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Cameron Sutton, please call 813-247-8200.”
The 29-year-old cornerback played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2017 to 2022 before signing a three-year, $33 million contract with the Lions in 2023.
Sutton started all 17 regular season games and three postseason games for the Lions last season who lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game.
