Earlier in the week, Patrick Mahomes, crowned the game’s MVP, embarked on a trip to Disneyland with his family, accompanied by their two young children, 2-year-old daughter Sterling and 1-year-old son Bronze.
This marked the second visit to Disneyland in three years and the third overall for the Mahomes family.
Tragically, the jubilant atmosphere at the parade would soon give way to sorrow following a shooting incident. Reportedly occurring at Union Station shortly after Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce departed from the event stage, the shooting resulted in several victims being transported to nearby Children’s Mercy Hospital for treatment.
