Cam Newton, former NFL MVP and host of the Funky Friday podcast, recently shared insights into his relationship with comedian and influencer Jasmin Brown.
The couple has reportedly been together since 2021 and their relationship has been kept relatively private.
However, in a recent podcast episode, Newton opened up about their bond, emphasizing their friendship and lack of privacy.
He shared that they do almost everything together, including going to the bathroom.
Newton also revealed that they have a saying about their past dating lives, referring to themselves as “retired thots” who have found each other.
“First off, with me and mine, she already know. It ain’t no privacy,” he said while mentioning the pair’s specific saying about their past dating life. “We [are] in there together. That’s our thing. I know this is TMI, but that’s my dawg. We got the saying where we’re like, ‘we’re two retired thots that came together.’ We see both of our jerseys in the rafters…Hers got more dust on it than me. Mine recently just went up there.”
Additionally, he mentioned their strong communication and ability to joke about anything, including their dating preferences.
Newton expressed his belief that their open communication and deep understanding of each other have built a strong foundation for their relationship.
“We had our day. I like talking. We’re in tune. I’m so in tune that there’s nothing we can’t talk about. I think that’s what’s most important,” he stated. “There’s no hiding, nothing. You know I don’t go through phones. I don’t do that. The thing is for me, I know my partner so much, that I have to know triggers that uh uh, she ain’t right.”
Despite public scrutiny related to Newton’s past relationships, they have shown how honesty and limited access to their bond have benefited them.
