Caleb Williams appears to be dropping hints about his preferred playing destination.
Regarded by many as the top prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft, the USC Trojans quarterback has seemingly ruled out one team, or at least that’s what his recent social media activity suggests.

Williams liked a tweet from a Chicago Bears fan stating that the NFC North team doesn’t want to draft him, and he seems to share the sentiment.
“The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams just got CAUGHT. He does NOT want to go to the #Bears who have the #1 pick. Should the Bears stick with Fields?” tweeted Dov Kleiman, a sentiment that Williams acknowledged by liking the post.
While Bears players have expressed their belief that Justin Fields is superior to the quarterbacks at the top of the 2024 NFL Draft class, the ultimate decision rests with the Bears front office. The question arises whether they will retain Fields in 2024 or opt for Williams or another top quarterback.
Fields is undeniably a remarkable talent, demonstrating a better understanding of the offense, but the financial considerations loom as the Bears will soon have to negotiate a new deal with him as his rookie contract approaches its end.
