Time for Caleb Williams to make some new friends.
Although the Chicago Bears have yet to officially draft Caleb Williams, the presumptive No. 1 pick is already integrating himself into the team’s culture.
According to a report from ESPN Chicago’s “Waddle & Silvy,” Williams has been in Chicago, meeting with the Bears’ front office and sharing dinner with current team members.

It’s unsurprising that the Bears are eager to familiarize Williams with his future teammates and surroundings during his visit to Chicago. What’s notable is Williams’ proactive approach in embracing this transition, indicating he’s fully committed to the team.
The Bears’ intentions regarding their top draft pick have been fairly transparent. They traded Justin Fields to Pittsburgh to make room for Williams and haven’t seriously considered other quarterback options. As a result, there’s little suspense surrounding the Bears’ pick as the draft approaches on April 25th.
Sounds like it’s a done deal.
