Caleb Williams constantly faces scrutiny for every aspect of his life.
Leading up to the NFL Draft in April, Caleb Williams, the former USC Trojans quarterback, was spotted enthusiastically dancing in the stands as he cheered on his alma mater’s women’s basketball team during March Madness.
The USC women’s basketball squad was competing against Kansas in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at home in Los Angeles.
Williams’ impromptu dance moves caught the attention of viewers, as he was featured on the ESPN telecast and later tweeted out by the official women’s March Madness account.
Responding to the tweet, Williams quote-tweeted it and expressed his support with the caption, ‘Vibes onlyyyyy supporting our girls’.
However, there were fans who swiftly voiced criticism towards Williams, as his actions tend to divide opinions in the lead-up to the NFL Draft. In addition to facing mockery for his dancing, some also took issue with the color of his phone. Meanwhile, others couldn’t help but observe that he was wearing lipstick.

Meanwhile, USC, led by freshman standout JuJu Watkins, dominated Kansas with a commanding 73-55 victory, securing their spot in the Sweet 16.
Next up for the USC women’s basketball team is a Sweet 16 showdown against the fifth-seeded Baylor Bears, who pulled off an upset against the fourth-seeded Virginia Tech.
As for Williams, his future in the NFL appears to be taking shape, with the Chicago Bears likely to select him first overall. The Bears recently traded former quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers, leaving the offensive reins in the hands of Williams.
