USA gymnast Suni Lee concluded the 2024 Paris Olympics with an impressive haul of three medals, including one gold. Her gold medal was earned in the team final, where she competed alongside fellow Team USA gymnasts Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey.
Lee also secured two bronze medals, one in the all-around final and another in the uneven bars. Her outstanding performances captivated audiences and caught the attention of WNBA and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
In a recent Instagram post, Lee highlighted her 2024 Olympic experience by sharing five photos of herself and Team USA. She captioned the post, “2x olympian, 6x olympic medalist,” with a heart emoji.
Clark responded to Lee’s post with a simple yet enthusiastic message: “fireeeee.”

In the team final, Team USA achieved a final score of 171.296, the highest score among all participating countries. Lee competed in the last three rotations of the event, abstaining only from the vault.
In the individual all-around and uneven bars finals, Lee secured scores of 56.465 and 14.800, respectively, both of which earned her bronze medals.
These achievements added to her already impressive collection of Olympic medals.
Caitlin Clark, a former Iowa Hawkeyes star, was notably left off Team USA’s women’s basketball roster for the Olympics. Despite her absence, fans from other countries have shown their support by bringing signs for Clark to the Games. Team USA remains a strong contender for another Olympic gold medal in women’s basketball.
During her first WNBA season, Clark made the All-Star team, became the first rookie ever to record a triple-double, and has positioned the Fever for a playoff run.
Her accomplishments on the court mirror the excellence displayed by Lee in gymnastics, highlighting the incredible talent present in both sports.
