Former Iowa Hawkeyes star and current Indiana Fever point guard Caitlin Clark has been making waves on social media for her appearance at a New York Yankees game on Saturday.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark spent the day in the Bronx, enjoying the matchup between the New York Yankees and the Texas Rangers.
Clark, who was photographed alongside Yankees slugger Aaron Judge and other players, caught the attention of fans with her stylish outfit. She sported a classic Yankees jersey layered over a white tank top, a look that quickly became a topic of conversation online.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone noted the impact of Clark’s presence on his team, revealing that many of the players were “starstruck” upon meeting the rising WNBA star. “Really cool,” Boone said on Saturday. “She was impressive. Got to meet her in my office… She was pretty impressive. It was fun to see the amount of our guys that were kind of just starstruck being around her. Pretty cool meeting her, and she brought a good start to the day with her.”
Despite the Yankees’ enthusiasm, the game ended in a 9-4 victory for the Rangers. However, Clark’s appearance left a lasting impression on the team and fans alike.
The Yankees will be back on the field on Sunday, with the game set to begin at 1:35 p.m. ET.
As for Clark, she and the Indiana Fever are gearing up to return to action later this month, following the WNBA’s break for the Summer Olympics.
Clark’s rising popularity, both on and off the court, continues to make her one of the most talked-about figures in sports, as she transitions from college standout to professional basketball star.
