Buffalo Bills fans have a reputation for being some of the most passionate and wild supporters in the NFL, so it comes as no surprise that a dedicated Bills fan took home the top prize in a fiercely contested costume competition at Fanatics Fest over the weekend.
The grand prize for the winner? A dream package of tickets to every major sports championship, including the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup, World Series, WrestleMania, MLS Cup, and even a marquee UFC fight. It’s the ultimate reward for any sports enthusiast, and this year, it went to someone who truly embodied the spirit of Bills Mafia.
As the three-day extravaganza hosted by Fanatics at the Javits Center in New York City came to a close, Fanatics founder Michael Rubin took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his excitement about the event. “Saw A TON of incredible super fan outfits this weekend at Fanatics Fest, but Sarah from Buffalo dressed as a Bills fan jumping on a table was by far the most creative of them all! I can’t wait to see what outfits you guys come up with next time,” Rubin wrote.
Sarah’s costume was a showstopper, paying homage to the infamous Bills Mafia tradition of jumping through tables at tailgate parties. Her outfit featured an elaborate setup, complete with a plastic table designed to create the illusion that she was mid-crash, a nod to the bizarro ritual that started in 2015 when a Bills fan famously sent a Patriots supporter flying through a table in the parking lot.

Local Buffalo radio station WYRK provided further insight into Sarah’s winning look, noting that her costume was decked out with all the essential elements of a Bills tailgate. She sported the iconic Zubaz pants, had beer pong accessories, and even included ketchup and mustard bottles—a tribute to the pre-game condiment ceremonies that have become a quirky part of Bills Mafia lore.
Fanatics Fest was a massive event, drawing a crowd of 70,000 fans and featuring appearances by hundreds of famous athletes.
Among the highlights were former NFL teammates Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, who roamed the Javits Center incognito, each wearing the other’s uniform to playfully confuse fans. The fest also saw upcoming boxing rivals Jake Paul and Mike Tyson share the stage, and Olympic gold medalists Anthony Edwards and Kevin Durant had the crowd chanting “U.S.A! U.S.A!” during their appearance.
Adding to the star-studded affair, Jay-Z brought a pop-up version of his famed 40/40 Club to the event, offering fans a taste of the legendary nightlife experience. Meanwhile, Travis Scott surprised attendees with an impromptu performance following a Q&A session with Rubin, and also teamed up with Topps to release a series of limited-edition trading cards.
Sarah’s victory in the costume contest not only earned her an unforgettable sports experience but also solidified her place in the lore of Bills fandom.
Her creative tribute to one of the NFL’s most passionate fan bases perfectly captured the spirit of Fanatics Fest, where sports culture, fan creativity, and superstar athletes came together for an unforgettable weekend.
