This week, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit team announced the winners of the 2023 Swim Search.
In a surprising twist, all seven finalists have been declared co-winners of the Swim Search, granting them the opportunity to feature in the 2024 edition of SI Swimsuit.
The co-winners of this year’s Swim Search are Achieng Agutu, Nina Cash, Sharina Gutierrez, Penny Lane, Brittney Nicole, Jena Sims, and Berkleigh Wright.
A non-profit CEO, fashion designer and new mom, Sims strutted the Miami Swim Week runway while pregnant in July. Shortly thereafter, she and her husband, pro golfer Brooks Koepka, welcomed their baby boy, Crew.
The 34-year-old puts on the annual Pageant of Hope™, the most inclusive pageant in the world that focuses on confidence, self-esteem and appreciation of inner beauty for children and teens. “Helping these incredible participants from all over the world feel beautiful on the inside so closely parallels the mission behind SI Swimsuit: It’s not about the body, but who’s in that body,” she says. “My passion is helping people and spreading joy. Together, I know we can make a positive impact in the world.”
This achievement is a momentous milestone for each of these co-winners, fulfilling a dream for some.

Penny Lane shared her excitement, saying, “I was so captivated by their confidence and beauty that I cut out their pictures and proudly displayed them on my wall, dreaming that one day I could be like them. Looking back, I now realize that the power of my manifestation was at play even then, as little did I know that my dream would eventually lead to this moment.”
Berkleigh Wright expressed her gratitude, stating, “Being part of the Sports Illustrated family and having this influential platform will enable me to expand my role as a mentor and connect with a broader audience, particularly our youth.”
