Bronny James, the son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has made a stunning decision regarding his basketball future.
James, who came off the bench in his freshman season at USC, has announced that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal as he seeks to transfer away from USC.

Veteran basketball reporter Dick Weiss had the news.
“USC freshman guard Bronny James is entering the transfer portal. good for him. needs to get away from the Hollywood hype. best of luck to LeBron’s kid.”
It’s unclear where Bronny will be looking to transfer to at this time, but his freshman season at USC did not go as planned.
James suffered a cardiac arrest summer as he was heading into his freshman season with the Trojans.
The Trojans had a disappointing season finishing 15-18 on the year as James played in 25 games, averaging only 4.8 points per game, 2.8 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game.
Bronny’s decision to attend USC was influenced by their contract with Nike as his father has a lifetime contract with the company and it remains unclear if that will influence his upcoming transfer decision.
