San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy embodies the quintessential farmboy QB, making the most of his team’s much-needed bye week by embracing physical activity on his fiancée’s Iowa farm.
Jenna Brandt, Purdy’s fiancée, shared a glimpse of this on her Instagram, posting photos of Purdy hard at work on her family’s farm. She also treated her followers to a video of Purdy diligently harvesting corn on her story.
The couple had announced their engagement on Instagram in July, with Purdy proposing during their getaway in Saint Cloud, Florida.
Purdy’s debut showcased his skills as he led the 49ers to a perfect 5-0 record in the regular season, including a notable victory over Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ultimately earning them an NFC Championship appearance. Unfortunately, Purdy’s early exit from that game, due to a torn UCL in his throwing elbow, left the 49ers struggling against the Philadelphia Eagles in his absence.

While the 49ers had a blazing start to 2023, winning their first five games, they have faced offensive challenges in recent weeks, resulting in three consecutive losses. In Week 10, they aim to break their losing streak when they take on Trevor Lawrence’s Jacksonville Jaguars. The trip to Iowa during this bye week may prove instrumental in helping Brock Purdy regain his form and lead the 49ers to success.
