The Las Vegas Raiders made headlines by selecting Georgia tight end Brock Bowers with the No. 13 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday night, but the buzz wasn’t limited to his professional prospects.
Brock Bowers’ sister caught the attention of many during the draft with her distinctive sleeve tattoo on her right leg. However, she wasn’t the only woman close to Bowers to capture the public’s interest.
Cameron Rose Newell, Bowers’ girlfriend, celebrated his draft selection by sharing several photos on her Instagram with the caption: “Next stop, Vegas!!” The first photo featured Bowers in his brown suit and Raiders cap, with his arm around Newell, who was elegantly dressed in a long silk dress, playfully lifting one foot in the air. Another photo captured a moment of the couple sharing a kiss. In a third image, Newell is seen wearing a Las Vegas Raiders jacket, embracing Bowers.

Beyond her presence on social media, Newell is pursuing a degree in marketing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Bowers himself is regarded as one of the standout talents of the draft, considered by some as a generational player. He is one of only three three-time All-Americans in Georgia football history. Dominant under former coach Todd Monken, he led his team in receiving yards for three consecutive seasons and was instrumental in Georgia winning back-to-back national championships, breaking a 41-year drought.
With a collegiate record of 175 receptions, 2,538 receiving yards, 26 receiving touchdowns, plus five rushing touchdowns and 193 rushing yards, Bowers is poised to be a key asset for the Raiders’ offense, potentially transforming their passing game and challenging opposing defenses.
