Brittany Mahomes revealed she hasn’t always been a diehard Chiefs fan.
In fact, the wife of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared that one of their dogs is named after the team she supported before meeting her husband.
“I actually got Steel when I was in college. Patrick bought him for me as a Valentine’s Day gift when I was a junior,” she told People, explaining that the Pittsburgh Steelers inspired the pit bull’s name. “I used to be a Steelers fan, and that’s how I got the name Steel, so that’s a great story,” she added.
During the interview, Brittany also referred to Steel and their Cane Corso, Silver, as “their children.”
“I consider us having four kids,” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model mentioned.
She and Patrick are parents to three-year-old daughter Sterling Skye and one-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon.
