On a frigid Saturday night, the Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious against the Miami Dolphins in an AFC Super Wild Card Game held at Arrowhead Stadium.
Despite the below-zero temperatures, the devoted Chiefs Kingdom turned out in full force, filling the stands of Arrowhead Stadium. Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, took to social media to acknowledge the strong presence of Chiefs Kingdom, stating, “Chiefs Kingdom be SHOWING UP.” Both Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift opted for custom jackets to brave the cold during the game.
In the first postseason game of 2023, the standout aspect of the Chiefs team has been its formidable defense. This defensive prowess, evident throughout the regular season, once again took center stage. With the exception of a remarkable long touchdown play by former Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill, the defense dominated the Dolphins throughout the game.
Despite facing formidable receivers like Hill and Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins’ running game featuring Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane was stifled by the relentless Kansas City front.
