Brittany Mahomes has responded to the recent criticism surrounding her demeanor at a stadium in Baltimore, labeling people’s interest in her as an ‘obsession.’
The wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes faced divided opinions on social media after footage showed her interacting with a stadium employee in the aftermath of the Chiefs’ 17-10 win over the Ravens.
Following the victory, Mahomes, Brittany, and his brother Jackson celebrated on the field with players, and as they walked back towards the locker room, Brittany was captured on camera asking a stadium employee, ‘where do we go from here?’ while spinning her finger in a circular motion. Some social media users accused her of having a ‘high horse’ attitude, sparking a debate online.

In response to the criticism, Mahomes took to Instagram, posting, ‘I take rumors as a compliment. The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered.’
While the footage did not explicitly show any offense towards the employee, opinions on TikTok were divided. Some criticized her for being on a ‘high horse,’ commenting on the finger twirl, while others defended her, stating that she simply asked a question and did nothing rude.
Notably, Mahomes and Taylor Swift have developed a close friendship, often seen sitting next to each other at games the pop star attends. Mahomes has even joined Swift for dinner with A-list friends in New York City.
Additionally, last month, Mahomes faced another controversy when a hotel server accused her of not tipping staff during her stay at a luxury Hollywood hotel. The former server claimed Mahomes did not tip for a $130 bill and did not tip any staff during her week-long stay, describing her as ‘genuinely unpleasant.’
