The more Mahomies in her crew, the shorter the ‘do.
Brittany Mahomes revealed a fresh new hairstyle on her Instagram Stories Thursday, shortly after announcing her third pregnancy.
In doing so, she also shared insights about her experiences with postpartum hair loss.
The 28-year-old Kansas City Chiefs WAG, married to star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also 28, posted a selfie showcasing her newly shortened, layered haircut. Along with the photo, she humorously captioned, “With every kid the hair gets shorter ? ? oops.”
Her new straight cut falls just above her bustline, a departure from her usual longer, wavy style. In the video, Brittany sported minimal makeup, a cropped burgundy T-shirt, and white sweatpants as she played with her blonde hair.

As a fitness trainer and co-owner of the Kansas City Current, Brittany admitted that she hadn’t been as forthcoming about her health and beauty routines recently, due to the “little secret” she had been keeping about her pregnancy.
She mentioned using Nutrafol’s postpartum hair growth supplement ($88, now $70) after her previous pregnancies to combat hair loss.
“I’d actually been experiencing the postpartum hair [loss],” she explained in the clip, noting that she started using the supplement after giving birth to her son, Bronze, in 2022. “I’m not taking anything right now because I am pregnant, so I do plan to go back to the postpartum [supplement] once I give birth,” she added.
Brittany, Patrick, and their children, Sterling Skye, 3, and Bronze, 1, recently coordinated in white and tan outfits to announce their joyful news on Instagram on July 12. The announcement featured a series of sweet family photos.
However, Brittany has made it clear that this will be their last pregnancy-related hair chop. During a press conference last week, Patrick affirmed, “I’m done. I’ll say that. I said three and I’m done.”
As the family prepares to welcome their third child, Brittany continues to embrace the changes that come with each new addition to their growing family, both in her personal life and her evolving style.
