Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has taken a stand against NFL fans who criticize her close friend Taylor Swift.
In response to a viral video where a fan shouted at Swift, accusing her of ruining football, Brittany reposted a quote from Charles Barkley on her Instagram Stories, stating, “If you’re screaming at Taylor Swift saying she ruined [football], you’re just a loser.”
Alongside the quote, Brittany added, “Let. Them. Know.”

Brittany’s defense of Swift is not surprising, considering their strong bond developed since Swift started dating Travis Kelce, Patrick’s best friend and teammate. The two have been spotted together at various Chiefs games, and sources suggest they may share a suite at Super Bowl LVIII.
Their friendship extends beyond sports, as they’ve enjoyed dinner outings and celebrated birthdays together.
Despite facing trolling and criticism on social media, Brittany has been outspoken in defending herself and her friends. In December 2023, she addressed increased negativity on her Instagram, urging critics to go back where they came from.
While Brittany continues to stand up for her friends, Swift has not yet publicly addressed the backlash directed at her new BFF.
