New York Jets running back Breece Hall encountered an “overzealous autograph seeker” upon his arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport last Sunday, as reported by TMZ Sports.
In a video shared by TMZ Sports, the man can be seen engaged in a heated argument with Hall, prompting former New York Giants linebacker Carl Banks to step in and diffuse the situation.
Banks stated to the outlet that he intervened because he wasn’t going to allow his friend to be mistreated.
According to TMZ Sports, Hall had returned from Las Vegas, where he had been partaking in the festivities surrounding Super Bowl LVIII.
Despite facing adversity early in his career with a torn ACL that cut short his rookie season after seven games, the 2022 second-round pick had a standout season for the Jets, surpassing expectations. He emerged as the team’s leading rusher, amassing 994 yards and five touchdowns.
