The ongoing saga of Zach Wilson’s struggles is being well-documented.
The New York Jets have made a quarterback switch, announcing on Monday that Tim Boyle will start for the team moving forward, with Zach Wilson being benched.

Reacting to Wilson’s benching, former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason is advocating for the Jets to release Wilson, stating, “He serves no purpose on this team right now. None…They should just release him.”
Despite sticking with Wilson for most of the 2023 season, especially after the injury to Aaron Rodgers, the Jets seem to have reached a point where patience with the former BYU Cougars quarterback has worn thin.
The Jets are scheduled to face the Miami Dolphins on Friday in an unusual Black Friday game, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. E.T. While it’s hard to imagine Wilson not getting another chance, the door remains open, especially if Tim Boyle faces any setbacks.
