It’s evident that some personalities at Fox News harbor disdain for Taylor Swift, a sentiment that has been publicly expressed. Conversely, there is a considerable defense of Swift, who is simply supporting her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Veteran sportscaster Bob Costas, appearing on CNN’s “King Charles,” called out Fox News for its critical stance on Swift. He highlighted that the criticism seems to stem from factors such as disliking the Chiefs or speculations about Swift’s political leanings.
“People, all of a sudden, don’t like something about Taylor Swift. Either they don’t like the Chiefs or they’ve inferred that Taylor Swift might not be a Trumper. Then they’re annoyed by Taylor Swift,” Costas said. “I can guarantee you, that all this news at Fox News would not be happening if she was wearing a MAGA hat. They would love it.”

Charles Barkley echoed Costas’ perspective, stating that those berating Taylor Swift over football-related matters are simply displaying a sense of bitterness. He added, “If you’re screaming at Taylor Swift saying she ruined [football], you’re just a loser.”
The ongoing criticism might continue, especially if Swift is featured during the Super Bowl broadcast on CBS. However, this cycle of finding new targets for criticism seems to be a recurring pattern.
