A new quarterback in the “Mile High City?”
The Denver Broncos are surely looking for a new quarterback after benching Russell Wilson late last season. However, free agent options are quite limited currently.

Sayre Bedinger of the Broncos’ Predominantly Orange site on FanSided has quite an interesting trade proposal that sends New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones to Denver.
“Say what you will about Mac Jones, but his ability to get rid of the ball quickly and play in an offense that is predicated on rhythm, timing, and tempo?
Well, that screams “Sean Payton” to me. I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if the Denver Broncos made a move for Mac Jones and put him in a “better” overall situation.”
The Broncos currently hold the #12 pick in the upcoming NFL draft and could choose a quarterback there.
As for Mac Jones, his time with the Patriots certainly seems up as he was benched as well late in the season for Bailey Zappe.
It’s not out of the question that head coach Sean Payton decides to take a chance on a former first-round pick like Mac Jones.
