Kevin Costner, renowned for his roles in numerous sports movies, is currently embroiled in a tumultuous divorce with his wife, Christine Baumgartner. Amidst the acrimony of their separation, the A-list actor has reportedly secured a significant legal victory.
According to TMZ Sports, a judge has made a ruling regarding Costner’s child support payments. While Baumgartner had initially requested $250,000 per month, the court has reduced this sum to $63,209 per month.
This adjustment amounts to approximately $750,000 per year, a substantial figure but notably lower than the amount sought by Baumgartner.
TMZ Sports reported that Costner had expressed his primary concern about entering into a relationship with Christine, which was centered on having children and the potential for divorce, as he had experienced a divorce after having three children with his first wife. Subsequently, he and Christine had three children together before their divorce.
Costner reportedly informed the judge that he had been transparent about his financial matters, stating, “I don’t hide money from my wife.”
