The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback competition between Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask is off to a rocky start.
Video leaked from practice which led to fans taking to social media to joke about Mayfield and Trask’s struggles. This video certainly casts some doubts on whether either can fill the void left by Tom Brady.
Surprisingly, the Bucs signed Baker Mayfield to attempt to fill that void left by Brady. The team hopes that Mayfield’s arrival will bring some stability to the uncertain QB situation.
Kyle Trask, a second-round pick from the 2021 NFL Draft, is Mayfield’s primary competition for the starting QB position. He has been on Tampa Bay for two years backing up Brady. We have yet to see Trask in action though so there are certainly doubts that he is ready to assume a starting role.
