Talk about an awkward moment.
Jalen Rose, an NBA analyst, was among several ESPN on-air personalities who were recently laid off.

Prior to the announcement of his layoff, ESPN had intended to have Rose appear on Get Up, which was evident during Friday’s episode.
Brian Custer, the host, initially introduced Rose as one of their NBA analysts. However, moments later, Custer apologized for Rose’s absence, attributing it to audio issues. He stated that they were planning to have Rose provide his input but were experiencing problems with the audio, specifically from L.A.

It seems implausible that Rose’s segment on Get Up was genuinely interrupted by audio issues.
Rose has been associated with ESPN since 2007, having hosted Jalen and Jacoby and contributed to NBA Countdown. We hope that Rose quickly finds new opportunities.
