During the summer, there were rumors circulating that Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves had a romantic relationship with Taylor Swift.
However, Reaves firmly denied ever meeting or knowing the pop superstar.
Unfortunately, that did not discourage fans from chanting Swift’s name at him during a recent public appearance.

To the crowd’s amusement, Reaves responded by stating that he is currently in a relationship, which only fueled their shouts of Swift’s name toward the 25-year-old shooting guard.
Despite the persistent chants, Reaves kept a lighthearted attitude, although it wouldn’t be surprising if he found them somewhat bothersome by now.

Entering his second NBA season, Reaves, originally from Arkansas, has shown promise as a rising star.
With a background at Wichita State and Oklahoma, he averaged 13.0 points per game, shooting an impressive 52% from the field, 39.8% from three-point range, and 86.4% from the free throw line. Reaves also contributed 3.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game.
As a testament to his abilities, Reaves secured a four-year, $56 million contract extension with the Lakers this summer and followed it up with a noteworthy performance for Team USA.
In their final group play game at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, Reaves and his American teammates will face off against Jordan on Wednesday.
