During Saturday night’s preseason game between the New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Aaron Rodgers was absent from the field.
However, there was an unexpected moment involving Howard Stern’s controversial personality.
As the first half was coming to a close, the broadcast on WFLA in Tampa Bay caught some additional voices in the background.
Among those voices was one that made a comment worthy of national attention.
As play-by-play announcer Chris Myers commended the official for explaining why the half ended despite a penalty flag being thrown, a microphone that happened to be at the right place at the right time captured an ageless reference.
