Tom Brady’s decision to subject himself to a roast on Netflix’s “The Greatest Roast of All Time” might have been something he regretted halfway through the event.
Part of the annual “Netflix is a Joke Festival,” the roast took place Sunday night at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and streamed live on the platform.
Former colleagues from the Patriots, including Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Rodney Harrison, Willie McGinest, Matt Light, and Nate Solder, along with former head coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft, were all present.
During Gronkowski’s turn, he humorously highlighted the perceived similarities between Brady and Belichick, emphasizing their shared seriousness and aversion to fun.
As the evening progressed, Gronk took a shot on stage and, true to form, spiked his shot glass, causing some fragments to inadvertently injure an audience member in the front row.

Throughout his illustrious 23-year career, Brady secured an impressive seven Super Bowl rings – six with the Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Alongside him, Gronk clinched four of these titles.
Brady’s accolades include five Super Bowl MVP awards and three NFL MVP honors. Despite announcing his retirement in February 2022, he returned for one final season with the Bucs before officially retiring last year.
His decision to return for another season likely contributed to the end of his marriage to Gisele Bundchen in October of his final campaign.
