A man was arrested for his involvement in a fight that occurred at Oracle Park during Wednesday’s Bay Bridge Series game between the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland A’s, the San Francisco Police Department confirmed.
SFPD stated that officers responded to the altercation around 8:30 p.m. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident.
The fight, which began as a verbal altercation, quickly escalated into a physical confrontation involving four individuals.
Witnesses reported that a possible suspect remained in the area after the altercation. Police arrested Aron Soto, 26, of Stockton, for aggravated assault.
A video that appeared to capture the fight was posted on social media but was later deleted. The footage showed two Giants fans and two A’s fans clashing on the ballpark’s concourse. In the video, one Giants fan was seen knocked onto his back while the two A’s fans walked away from the scene.

Despite the off-field chaos, the game continued uninterrupted. Giants ace Logan Webb pitched his second career complete game shutout, leading the Giants to a 1-0 victory over the A’s.
In an unrelated but equally newsworthy event, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong made headlines by spray-painting over an A’s logo at the Toronto Blue Jays’ stadium.
The altercation at Oracle Park added an unfortunate incident to what was otherwise a memorable game night.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fight, and more details may emerge as the case develops.
